A prototype is probably the most important part you will ever produce. You want to be sure that your tests give you a clear answer - either "yes" or "no" - to the question "will it work?"
In prototype production, there's no substitute for experience. You can't afford to have a molder "experiment" with your prototype because, until you get the prototype your looking for, your program is costing you time and money.
Tech-Way has the experience you need to make the prototype part development on your engineering problem reliable and cost-effective. This is what gives you the edge over your competition.
We are so convinced that rapid prototyping is invaluable that we bring its technology to every phase of the process. Often the result is a part that is the solution to a previously "unsolvable" problem.
We have two machines that are capable of building parts from actual ABS plastic. These parts are much stronger than traditional plastic rapid prototype parts and can actually be used in assemblies to test the theories that engineers have. They are fairly quick for us to make, often we can have an overnight turnaround. We have a special process that we can do if your part needs to hold fluid that will smooth out the surface to hold fluid. Your plastic part can also be painted to look like the actual final part (if you want to take it to a show ). We can sand it and fill with primer filler and it will look like an actual molded part.
Instead of SLA and other common RP, ours are much stronger, retain their shape and are used in assemblies to test theories before any hard tooling is made, saving you money.
Quick Low Cost Prototype Tooling
We have built very cost-effective, low budget, lowrun tooling for people who want perhaps 25 parts in metals (aluminum, pre hard steel)
Tech-Way Industries makes machine prototype parts out of (depending upon part configurations) steel, aluminum, and plastic. We can machine special features on parts (have a pre-existing parts and want a modification, or special machining.
