Paintball to Airsoft Gun Conversion Kits

At Tech-Way Industries, we are proud to create custom designs based on your company’s needs. A customer in the sporting goods industry requested a part that would convert a Morphfire paintball gun to an Airsoft gun. The Airsoft gun is then capable of semi-automatic burst and fully automatic firing from a 300-round magazine of plastic pellets.

After designing the tooling, we combined plastic injection molding and CNC machining skills to manufacture a converter with a length of 14″, a width of 2.25″, and height of 3.5″. Injection molded and processed using high strength filled polymer, with a tolerance of ±.001″. We built 125,000 converters, they then received a textured finish and were custom laser engraved. We assembled, packaged, labeled, and shipped to domestic and international locations for next day delivery. To optimize shipping, we use Kanban scheduling and joint replenishment to support just-in-time production of products. 

Tech-Way Industries participated in the marketing effort that accompanied the introduction of the converters and supplied our customer with cozies, t-shirts, and bandanas to announce availability. As the customer’s first project, they turned to Tech-Way Industries to help them throughout the process to completion.
